Grumbacher Workable Fixative is a colourless, special formulation of synthetic resin that produces a workable matte surface on pastel, charcoal, pencil, etc. 

It dries to a non-glossy finish.

Grumbacher Workable Fixative also allows non-porous surfaces to accept waterbased media without beading up.
